Take a camel ride to Fire Mountain in Arrecife to view amazing lunar-like landscapes, enjoy the vibrant city life of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria or sunbathe on the volcanic black-sand beaches in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. A 200-year-old botanical garden is a highlight for visitors to Puerto de la Cruz, and Loro Parque houses the world’s largest collection of parrots.

Often featured in conjunction with Western Mediterranean itineraries, cruises to the Canary Islands typically depart from popular cities such as Rome and Barcelona, and as far north as London. Occasionally the Canary Islands will be included as a port of call in westbound trans-Atlantic cruises. If you must fly a very long distance to reach your port of departure, we suggest that you arrive at the port city at least one or two days in advance of your Canary Islands cruise. This will give you time to rest and get oriented before boarding the ship. Most cruise lines offer pre-cruise hotel packages.
