Bermuda is a self-governing British dependency that melds island living with proper English traditions. • Many people mistakenly assume that Bermuda is in the Caribbean. In fact, it is actually about 1,000 miles north of the Caribbean and roughly 570 miles east of Cape Hatteras, NC.
